So why won't this PC Suite Software do what I'm telling it to do and connect via the bluetooth com port? Thank you for any help p.s.s I'm guessing it's because my phone does not have the right profile in it's bluetooth abilities to communicate with the software. So i have bluetooth on my computer and the computer is able to send files and receive files from my phone through the widcomm provided windows software. I do not have a USB cable for this proprietary style connection on this 's not a type of connection you can find even at a RadioShack. Any ideas please? I downloaded the pc software suite software from and i cannot get the software to recognize my phone (Pantech Link P7040) via bluetooth connection! I'm extremely frustrated.i've opened the com ports the software has asked for and managed to get the phone to 'connect' for a second or so but then when i go to do any other part of the programs ability (contact transfers, file explorer, etc) the program says the phone is not connected. I downloaded the pc software suite software from and i cannot get the software to recognize my phone (Pantech Link P7040) via bluetooth connection! I'm extremely frustrated.i've opened the com ports the software has asked for and managed to get the phone to 'connect' for a second. You can connect your phone directly to the PC as the application provides everything you need to access it. Pantech PC Suite has been developed by Pantech to give the users a good management phone tool.
